About Statement from AjaxPickering.ca RE:Events Feed in light of COVID-19
In light of the directive for social distancing from all three levels of government, most events in the Town of Ajax and the City of Pickering have been cancelled until further notice.
We encourage you to check with your event host to see if your event has been cancelled, postponed or is going forward in a different format i.e. virtual.
AjaxPickering.ca is committed to providing accurate information and, because of this commitment, we have suspended all Event postings until after April 6, 2020, at which time we will re-evaluate the social climate in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay healthy, keep your distance from each other, practise self-care and keep connected via telephone, email, Skype, social media and online resources.
NOTE: If you have a public event that is going forward via alternative resources i.e. virtually, you may submit to our General Manager by using the email link in this posting.
