Backwoods Players presents “The Old Lady Shows Her Medals” by J. M. Barrie at the Brougham Hall. A poignant play set in WW1 era and produced as a dessert theatre. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online at pickering.ca/eStore or by calling 905.683.8401. Performance Dates are: Saturday April 18, 2015 at 7:00 pm; Sunday April 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm; Saturday April 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm; Sunday April 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm

Join us for Take Pride in Pickering Day to help plant trees and shrubs from 10 am to 12 noon. There are two planting locations 1) Alex Robertson Park Sandy Beach Road 2) Duffin Heights Tillings Road and Winville Road (park and proceed on foot to the planting location, follow signs) Please wear shoes/boots and clothes appropriate to the weather. Feel free to bring a shovel and gloves if you have them.
