Profile

My name is Andre Linsky. I am a father of three children, two of whom attend a French Catholic school in the region (Amy is in grade 4, Nathan is in grade 2 and Madison was born in December, 2017). I have been involved in the Francophone community of the Durham Region for several years, volunteering on the board of directors of a company managing several francophone daycares. I have also been involved with parents' councils in schools attended by my children in recent years. I completed a BBA degree at UQAM University and have been working in the insurance and financial services industry for 14 years. I am also a part-time student at Laval University in the Master's program (MBA in Project Management). Our school system is currently facing many challenges, including the arrival of new technologies, ever-increasing needs for children with special needs and condition of our school buildings, etc. I am seeking a mandate to represent you and make decisions for the benefit of all students of the School Board.
