Why Vote McFarland?

• City Council should reflect the diversity of our community. I represent a diverse cross-section of our community. I will bring a fresh perspective that is needed to reflect the inclusive and multi-cultural landscape of Pickering.
• A councillor who lives in Ward 1 is essential to truly represent our community's needs. As a 12-year resident of Ward 1, I will bring authentic representation to council.
• I will lead our community through a period of continued population growth and development with my collaborative and action orientated approach.
• I will help attract business to Pickering, particularly along the 407 corridor, to ensure that job creation accrues to our community. Business growth will broaden our tax base and help ease pressure felt by residential taxpayers.
• My commitment to you is that I will always strive to find a fair and ethical outcome that is in the best interest of Pickering.
