Interested in public service since I was a youth, and I've worked towards researching and delivering effective public policy ever since in both my education and employment. I've lived in Pickering my entire life and the issues I am concerned about include local employment, transit infrastructure, and the tax burdens residents face.

A Doctoral candidate in Political Science, I am uniquely qualified to ensure quality policy outcomes for Ward 1. I think that good policy for residents begin with good research and analysis to best evaluate which solutions will have a positive impact for citizens for their future. My policy-centred approach is what differentiates me from other candidates. I am trilingual and have worked in the Office of the Minister of International Trade and the Federal Constituency office for Pickering-Scarborough East. I've also had the opportunity to teach at two universities while there for my masters and PhD degrees respectively.
