Accountopia+ is owned by James Abbott, CMA. James (Jamie) completed a Honours BA in Business Management at the University of Toronto, Scarborough College. A series of progressive roles in the Insurance, Oil and Gas, Capital Markets and Banking industries soon followed. In his last role, Jamie was the Director/Controller for a Big Five Bank’s Global Treasury. Along the way, Jamie completed the Society of Management Accountant’s Strategic Leadership Program and obtained the prestigious Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. Jamie’s outgoing personality, direct pragmatic approach and business acumen have made the difference in assisting our clients. Jamie is fun, strategic and proactive.
