Royal Canadian Legion Kicks Off 2011 Poppy Campaign

2011 Poppy Kick off

October 28, early morning Pickering Ontario,
Veterans, politicians, reporters gather with gratitude to show,
Together where, in Legion Branch 606 the boxes lie,
Volunteers prepare beneath the ever lightening sky,
The red Remembrance poppies, upon our lapels to sow.
-Jeanette Evely
